So new environmentally friendly snow melting agents emerged.
The main component of the new environmentally friendly snow melting agent is non chlorine, which is made from corn and other plant straw as raw materials, processed through fermentation and other deepening technologies. It is non-toxic and harmless, and can be metabolized in the natural environment. After spraying, it has no impact on plants and the environment, and will not corrode concrete and steel. In addition, non chlorine snow melting agents can also withstand low temperatures and can be used normally at minus 20 degrees Celsius. At present, Beijing has piloted the use of non chlorine snow melting agents on important road sections such as Chang'an Street and Airport Expressway.
After the product is combined with snow, it reacts to melt the snow and prevent it from freezing. Unlike previous years of sodium chloride snow melting agents, the new calcium chloride snow melting agent will not have a significant impact on the road surface.
